Hi I’m Janene. Taurus Rising, Sagittarius Sun, and Scorpio Moon. Priestess of Fire and Water. How does someone even become a Tarot card reader, you may or may not be asking yourself. It finds you just as most things that are meant for you do. My spiritual journey began when I was 17. I was introduced to Wicca, an earth based religion. I was immediately drawn in by the Wiccan Rede which is three simple tenants: do what you want but don’t hurt anyone, whatever you do comes back to you in threefold and most importantly, treat others as you want to be treated. Blessed Be and Harm None are a part of every prayer I say and intention I set.

I was first introduced to Tarot through a friend who was a reader back in 2016. Shortly after, I began working at a metaphysical shop in Los Angeles and my curiosity began to grow. But really it was a healing crisis that took my faith and practice to the next level. During that time I was guided to people and resources that helped me learn how to heal myself through intention, insight, self love and magic. After I recovered, my best friend encouraged me to further hone my gift and start an Instagram page, that was in 2019. Since then, I have done free tarot card readings for the collective on my Instagram every new moon and full moon.

In 2020 I began my professional career as a reader doing in-person events, parties, and working at a shop as a tarot card reader. The majority of my personal readings were virtual and I found an intimacy and richness in these readings that resonates with me and my clients on a deep level. I also took online classes with the Sage Goddess and became a certified crystal healer. I incorporate crystals into my readings and all of the elements.

When you get a reading with me you can feel safe as I always open and close a circle, burn sage to clear the energy, set sacred space, and delineate which energies are allowed in and which energies aren’t. I call upon the guides and guardians of the four directions and Spirit. We are all made up of light and shadow but I serve the light.
